Washed my hair for free, almost exclusively used scissors rather than an electric shaver so no loud noise and IMO a better cut anyway, didn't complain when I had to get cash out of the ATM next door, and didn't mind talking to pass the time.
I also got one of the best haircuts I've ever had out of it, for the same price as I would have payed in the city for an assembly line, all shaver, in and out ASAP hack and slash.

Studio 62 has been transformed into Head Case, a sleek modern space at the same location. Brandy is a great stylist who listens closely, works with her clients preferences, and does wonderful hair cuts. She gave me an elegant bob even though my hair is fine and really difficult to work with, plus the price was not exorbitant. If you are looking for a welcoming space and a meticulous cut, this is the place to go. In my experience it is by far the best salon in the West Shore!

I have been a customer here for approx 5 years. The staff takes the time to know the customers and learn about what they like. When i walk into House of Russell, I feel like family. They remember what hair style I like and know how to treat me. All of the hair dressers are experienced but keep very up to date on modern hair styles. I would recommend House of Russell to anyone who wants the service and attention of a high class salon without the high price. When you leave House of Russell, you will feel like you got your moneys worth every time. I dont even live in the area anymore but i make the 30 min commute to get my haircut here,
