Steve has a little hair salon business going in Castle Downs. I once lived adjacent to the strip mall that he is leasing space from. He is a personable guy who has a very pleasant way about him. But he always has worked me into his schedule whenever I needed a quick trim. He gives me the kind of hair cut that I have never been able to get anywhere else. Now that I live over 20 min away by car I still make him my barber of choice. I really appreciate Steve! He is a one man band. Best wishes

After a couple of years of trying to find a stylist in the north end, I had given up the hope that I would ever get a haircut that would address my hair challenges. My search is over!!!I have just gotten home from my first appointment at Rock It Out Salon and I absolutely LOVE my hair, I am sooooooo happy.My appointment was with Amanda,who knows what she is doing and I have to mention the Receptionist, so friendly not phony friendly, genuinely friendly. Im very very fusy about my hair and know exactly what I want. I have had the same hair dresser for years,how ever to get into her is very difficult so I needed to find another one. Apprehensively i went to Modiglini and worked with Heather I had the exact product numbers I wanted for my highlights and lowlights. we worked through the process and my hair in the end turned out even better then I expected. Im so happy and now I have a new hairdresser. Thank you Heather!!

I'm sooooo glad someone recomended Pure Vanity. Jason is an awesome hair stylist! I've never been disapointed and he gives the best head massages when applying conditionner ;)
You should try it out. Waaaaaay more affordable then the downtown salons.
