Focus Studio Dance has been in the St.Vital community for over 20 years and is one of Winnipeg's best dance training schools. The school provides dance training for beginners to pre professional, with qualified teachers in all dance disciplines. Our programs are designed for each child to reach their maximum potential, there are recreational classes for students wishing to dance for fun, and Intensive Programs for students wishing to train at a higher level.Class sizes are limited giving your child the attention and training needed to attain their dance goals. All faculty members continue to educate themselves and upgrade their syllabus giving the students new challenges as well as innovative and appropriate choreography.The studio runs from September to June and follows the Winnipeg School Division calendar. CRAVEAbout Mark and KathyMark and Kathy grew up in Winnipeg in the neighbourhood of Fort Garry where Church of the Rock is located. They have been married for over 20 years and have grown children.Mark graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Agriculture in 1977 and ran the family owned farm for 10 years. It wasn't until his mid-twenties that he entered Bible School and then went on to study New Testament Greek at Providence Theological Seminary. Mark has also been involved in politics over the years and in 1993 ran as a candidate in the federal general election.In 1996 Church of the Rock began televising their services on Manitoba's 'A' channel. Since then they have expanded to include cities from coast to coast across Canada (See: Broadcast Schedule). Mark's practical and humourous style has struck a chord with audiences of all ages and has consistently led the ratings for religious programs in every broadcast region.Pastor Mark has a deep interest in the unity of the churches in Winnipeg and is respected as one of the principal leaders of a city-wide prayer movement.

He had asked one of his brothers, Mike, to postpone his venture as a tailor, and to come and work with him for a short period of time. Mike had already made plans to pursue his career in the US and start his own tailor business. 37 years later, Mike and Bart are still working together, side by side, committed to selling fine furniture to customers.Through the years, many family members have joined the business but eventually moved on to pursue different careers. Pulford Community Living Services Inc., a not-for-profit community based organization, was established in November 1986 in response to the closing of a guest home that threatened to leave several people homeless. On December 1, 1986, three people moved from the guest home into their own home on Fleet Avenue, assisted by Pulford. Since 1986, Pulford has continuously provided housing and supports to persons with a developmental disability. The supports provided by P.C.L.S. Inc. and its employees are intended to encourage and facilitate, to the greatest possible extent, the individual's ability to live and grow in ways that the individual sees fit.
