Making Waves Swim School has been producing confident swimmers and providing award-winning water safety programs for children and adults since 1994.
The Milton location is a purpose-built private aquatic facility that has been part of the Making Waves family of pools since 2006. In the summer of 2014 it underwent a major renovation and now boasts a spacious family change room, a large modern viewing area, expanded parking lot and a state of the art UV water sanitation system!

This summer I will be running private swimming lessons again in my backyard pool. I have been teaching swimming lessons with the Town of Oakville for over 3 years as well as this being the second summer running private backyard swimming lessons. I'm very experienced in teaching children and adults of all ages. I'm also experienced in teaching Bronze Cross, Bronze Med and Emergancy First Aid. We were recommended to swim zone by a friend. My daughter has been taking lessons there for about a year. In our experience, we have found the coaches to be extremely patient and energetic. I am an experienced female swim instructor and lifeguard certified through Red Cross. This will be my third summer teaching from my heated backyard pool. Located at Thornton Road and Rossland Road, I am offering private swimming lessons for all ages and levels up to level 10 swim kids. All lessons follow the Red Cross standards and report cards and badges will be provided at the end of session. It normally takes 2 sessions (of 5 lessons) for students to complete a level.

SwimKids opened its doors in 1991 in the town of Port Perry. Owner, Julie Goodwin is a Master competitive swimmer, national swim coach, ECE, NCCP III and recipient of a Provincial Coaching Award. Small class sizes, quality instruction and individualized lesson plans along with dedicated customer service have made SwimKids the success it is today.
FitSTA Fitness offers Personal Training for that individual attention, to obtain your goals. We also offer Bootcamp classes that are an hour long and include a warm-up, HIIT circuits, Abs and stretching! These short high intensity circuits are done to a timer so you work at your own pace within the allotted time with the exercise variation that is best for you. Workouts are for the entire body and incorporate weighted and body weight exercises to increase strength and improve your definition while working muscular endurance. There are many different class times available each week, register for the class times that suit you best. We also offer Yoga, our YogaFit (R) is a vinyasa style of yoga that links body movement and poses together with breath by flowing from one pose to the next.
