North Norfolk is easily accessible by the Trans Canada Highway, which runs right through the municipality. Provincial Highway 34 and Provincial Roads 242, 350 and 352 also service the municipality.The Town of MacGregor , which is situated within the Rural Municipality, is the largest urban centre in North Norfolk. The communities of Austin, Sidney, Bagot and Rossendale are other larger communities in North Norfolk.The municipality is situated in the rich agricultural fields of Manitobas Central Plains Region. Agriculture is a prominent part of North Norfolks economy. The most prominent employer in the municipality is the Pine Creek School Division. The School Division employs approximately 216 local residents in various roles. Better Air, Macs Rentals, Rosehill Wood Crafters, Austin Credit Union, Portage CoOp, and the Municipal Office also employ many residents in the area.
New Rosedale Feedmill is owned and operated by New Rosedale Huterite Colony 1944. The feed mill was built in 1998 for on farm feed manufacturing only but demand for feed off farm grew rapidly. New Rosedale made the decision to go commercial, applied for commercial ANAC member and got accepted.Growth continued every year and it soon came apparent that a separate premix plant would have to be built. Building for premix was built in 2002 and premix plant in 2003.
