She studied biology and received a bachelors of science at the University of Saskatchewan before attending dental school there. After graduating, Dr. Howe was given one of only two spots in the general practice residency program at The Royal University Hospital; where she worked alongside many specialists and medical physicians. Dr. Howe moved back to Cranbrook in 2015 with her husband Dan. They have a three year old son and one year old boy/girl twins.
