Finding a landscaping design and construction company that is dedicated to excellence, and who pride themselves in designing and building landscapes that stand the test of time is certainly challenging. It was for us, but one simple drive-by a previous project completed by Landworks and we were sold. The quality of their workmanship and their attention to the smallest detail is unlike any landscaping work we have ever seen, ranking them second to none.
As a result, the company books up quickly. We booked in the summer of 2012 for a start date of spring 2013. During that time, the owner of the company, Danny, met with us several times to go over, in detail, timelines, goals, budgets, custom landscape designs, the construction process, and maintenance of the project. With Danny's creativity, artistic ability, and extensive knowledge of landscaping materials and products, we came up with a unique landscape design that not only fit our budget, but also utilized the existing elements of our property, including limited frontage space, trees, and ravine lot.
The courtesy and professionalism displayed by not only Danny, but also his crew was very impressive, to say the least. In addition, neighbours raved about their hard-work ethic, top-notch service, and job-site cleanliness. Danny has a very pleasant personality which makes working with him enjoyable. Part way through the week long ENDURrun 160KM stage race this past summer I started battling back spasms along with the distance. The pain was impairing my breathing and freedom of motion. After each stage, and in the one off day, Dr. Colin worked on my back to ensure I was ready for the next race day. i not only completed my fastest ENDURrun but ended it with a personal best marathon time to finish the week. I continued with a few more weeks of treatment, with both Colin and Dr. Erika the naturopath, which put an end to the spasms and let me enjoy the rest of my ultra racing season pain free.
