Colleen has taken special interest in the concept of core stability and has developed an exercise program to help people improve their spinal stabilization. She has been involved in the treatment of many athletes involved in running, gymnastics, dance and contact sports. Colleen stays fit by running, skiing and gardening.

Belmont was selected to host the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School from 2005 to 2007. The 2005 medalist was Will Yanagisawa. In 2006 Chang Hong from Korea was the medalist by a record-breaking 10 strokes. In 2007 seven Canadians were among the 16 players to earn cards Friday as the Canadian Tour's Spring Qualifying School wrapped up in B.C.
