My approach is client-centered, however I often include the use of CBT and DBT strategies to assist clients in making the changes they want. Changing our patterns of thinking and behaving isn't easy, even when you know that it's needed. My role is to support, guide and encourage you in this process. Your role is be as open as you can be and make a commitment to yourself and the work needed. I also approach client issues from the perspective of building your resiliency and developing your ability to better cope with whatever challenge life will present in the future.
