It's one of our favourite go to places!!???
But this past Saturday was definitely not one of those days. Both my husband n I have been sick since sat night. Throwing up the entire night on sat n Sunday with runs. Not pleasant gotten very weak from something we ate at Joeys don mills n Lawrence. We may need to reconsider. ???
We need to find another place. We ate here at least 1 or 2x a week. Sad ??

Everything started in 1998, when Mr. Machida, a man of driving ambition, participated in a well-known ramen competition in Japan called ‘Ramen Touryuumon.’ He competed against 344 veteran ramen chefs where he received recommendations and nominations from food critics and well-known ramen shop owners. It was at this competition that inspired Mr. Machida to follow his passion for ramen and opened his Tokyo-based restaurant, called Kyouka.
The origins of the deep fried sesame ball can be traced back to thousands of years ago as a palace food in Changan (known as 'ludeui' ), during the Tang, Qin and Han Dynasties. This dish is now usually served in small portions because the large size 'Dragon Pearls' at Dragon Pearl Buffet can only be made by trained chefs. Originally deep fried sesame balls are made in the New Year, and given as souvenirs when people visit their friends and family. The Deep Fried Sesame Ball is also a symbol of good luck.
