The format for the latter will alternate between reading aloud in small groups in some sessions, followed by others in which you'll give and get a more detailed written response to work circulated between sessions. Participants will gain confidence in their writing skills; and get a sense of reader response. The program is designed to help those in process with writing, who want a tune up in some of the key areas of writing craft and some feedback on their work. You should be prepared to do some writing between classes and to give time to thoughtful written reviews of work submitted by others within groups of four to six people. These sessions may continue in the bi-­-monthly format in winter 2015.

Pair of Medics First Aid Training was originally started because both Chris and Carla working as Primary Care Paramedics with the BC Ambulance Service would arrive on scenes and realize that most of the patients, that were critically ill or injured, could have had some lifesaving first aid provided to them prior to their arrival. Pair of Medics First Aid brings 24+ years of combined experience to the classroom. Chris and Carla are both certified training instructors with the Canadian Red Cross and are members in good standing with the local Chamber of Commerce.
