Roseglen Village is a quality retirement living facility that was once Port Hope's hospital. This 1964 building was transformed into Independent Living apartment on the lower level with appliances and personal parking spaces. For those who prefer to have someone else cook and clean,Roseglen Village also offers assisted living in individual suites, some opening into an interior courtyard or other rooms with views of historic trinity college school. An elegant dining room, private lounges, large patio, atrium and theatre room are available to all residents. Few of the 80 residences are empty for long because of the personal way in which local owner Joanne and Kevin Doble manage this magnificent building. One of the two central gathering rooms on the main floor includes a pond, fountain, and skylights. There are two roseglen spa rooms where risidents can walk into, not climb into,a spa and have attendants at hand if needed. In summer,an outside patio offer a BBQ location with a nearby gazebo. The wide halls of this former hospital are use regularly for long distance walking, like those offered by neighbouring Northumberland Mall. The Doble's are proud of their non-institutionalized style of management and greet residents on a daily first-name basis.

With their friendly service, they will always go the extra mile to, for example, clarify things with your doctor when necessary and go out of their way to make sure you understand your medications and get them on time. It's so nice to have our Community Pharmacy. Thank you, in particular, Bhavin and Carmen!Read more
