They range from ages 3 to adult, male and female, beginner to championship, and recreational to competitive. SIDA dancers can be seen often throughout the communities of the Fraser Valley and into Vancouver, performing both traditional and modern Irish step dancing, including hardshoe and softshoe, as well as ceili (group) dancing and choreographies.Irish Dance Lessons & ClassesClasses are after school and run Tuesday to Thursday: Tuesdays in Maple Ridge, Wednesdays in Vancouver, and Thursdays in Abbotsford. Classes range from beginner to advanced and are for girls, boys, kids, youth and adults. Recreational and competitive. Our specialty is in the "Rhythm and Smooth" dances which include: Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa/Mambo, Merengue, Samba, Bolero, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 Step, Foxtrot, Tango, Slow Waltz and Viennese Waltz. Absolutely no experience is necessary, and we will provide partners by balancing the classes between leaders and followers. You will be dancing after the very first night! Some dance to remember, some dance to forget.
