Great school with a great artistic director. On 25th November, we had a wonderful evening watching an amazing performance by her students. A truly great feat by the artistic director to come up with this concert, especially in such a short time. My granddaughter has been with the school for the past three years and has learnt so much from Ms Zhang.

Swing and Sway, organizes events and is a dance school for Ballroom, Latin, Salsa and other styles. We offer weekly dance parties, group and private lessons, event rentals and DJ services.
Our Dance Parties
Our passion is dance and we do everything we can to make our dancers happy. Everyone who steps into our parties or group lessons will have an ultimate dance experience with the best floor, music, sound, light, and group lessons. We have one of the most upscale venues in the GTA. Our dance floor and sitting area create an atmosphere, which is perfect for dancing, socializing or just relaxing. We run dance parties every Friday and Saturday, which include a complementary dance lessons, free snacks and hot drinks, free parking and more. Our themed parties are unforgettable events. Make sure you do not miss them.
DanceTastic Studio (D.T.S) opened its doors in 2002.. At D.T.S. we take pride in our high quality dance education taught in a positive learning environment. Our goal is to provide each student with mental, and physical challenges through movement. We will stimulate memory and retention while providing discipline, and excitement for the individual dancer. D.T.S. provides an exciting after school program (September to May) for children and/or adults who want to learn, or improve their dance abilities. Did you know that the Government of Canada allows parents to claim the total cost of dance lesson fees ($500.00/child under 16 years old) as a tax credit.
Nancy Sit, Fung Bobo, Sum Sum, Ban Ban, the late Roman Tam and Leslie Cheung, as well as younger entertainers like Karen Mok and Charlene Choi. she continues to study the traditional art form and has taken part in charity performances, thus experiencing once again the thrill of performing on stage.
Samantha Brooks - B.F.A. owner/Artistic Director is a professional teacher with an extensive dance background. She has been teaching dance in the GTA for 10 years. Sam is thrilled to be opening her own studio to share her passion and knowledge of dance with her students. She was teaching in York Region and has won numerous awards for her choreography and costumes at various competitions.
Our studio is a bright, newly renovated 1300 square foot space with an inviting parent lounge/viewing area.
There are two large wheelchair accessible men’s and women’s washrooms located directly outside of the entrance to the studio. As well as a single washroom located within the studio for the students.
There is free wifi, and ample parking available.

We offer part-time and full-time competitive programs.
Our ballet curriculum follows the high standards set out by the Royal Academy of Dance. Students may also learn other types of dance, such as National Dance, Chinese Dance, Hip Hop, Jazz etc. Our primary goal is to build elegant, confidence, poise and a love of dance while encouraging teamwork, fun and possibly last friendships. We are in interested in your child's personal development and we encourage every student to work towards giving their best effort.
