Learning English - Grammar, Vocabulary, Exercises, Tests, Games and Exams - Teaching and Learning English.
The Language Learning Centre was birthed in 2015. Unique in its character, it is a fitness centre for both language and cultural learning. Volunteers from the community, read, listen, and speak with language learners. Although not grammar focused, grammar and writing skill-improvement are components of learning.
A monthly membership fee ($80) gives the clients access to 12 hours a week of ESL learning. These are within the hours of 6-9pm, Monday through Thursday. Outdoor recreational activities and visits to community events, including Toronto, are a component. This past year, a rodeo in Minden, the Canadian National Exhibition, as well as the Royal Winter Fair and skating at Toronto City Hall have been enjoyed by the students.

Welcome to Calvary United Church!Sunday morning worship is at 10:30 where we seek to connect God's eternal and abiding message of love and service with our lives through scripture, song and prayer. The talented choirs and musicians supplement the relevant and engaging preaching, along with a multi-media approach, in exploring our faith.Our active Sunday School builds community among with the children of our younger families and teaches the lessons of Christ's acceptance and care. The building and its people are open and accessible, eager to welcome you!Beyond Sunday morning, there is an ongoing and involved community presence with a morning daycare centre, the largest Scouting troop in the city, a monthly breakfast program for those needing a hot meal, and various small group meetings throughout the weekdays.
