Photo Central has been serving Winnipeg's photographers since 1975, when Dick Toews took over management of what was then Independent Photo Centre. In 1991 the name was changed to Photo Central Inc when Dick took over full ownership. Photo Central continued to grow and adapt over the years, and has seen the introduction and explosion of digital products and the rapid change it has made in the industry in the last decade. Photo Central was purchased by Dick's son, Andrew, in the spring of 2008. Andrew has since made the necessary changes to ensure that Photo Central is equipped to function and flourish in a rapidly changing marketplace without sacrificing who we are or what we think a business should be. Caroline is the Executive Director for the Diabetes Integration Project. Caroline originates from the Pine Creek First Nation in the West Region Tribal Council region. Her nursing career began at Red River Community College where she graduated in 1986 with a Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate. Caroline continued her education on a part time basis and completed the Registered Nursing Diploma in Nursing in 1988.
