When I was searching for a childcare facility I came across Active Minds Activity Centre, This in home childcare stood out to me for it’s private like setting and warm environment. This is a centre like facility within a second home environment. This in home childcare is run by a loving childcare provider with many years of experience and is a mom of two. the activities that are offered are age appropriate and engaging. The facility is clean, well laid out, with a fenced in play yard.

She has extensive experience and training in intensive behavioral intervention, which is an important teaching technique for children. Anna has used this technique for typically developing children, as well as special needs kids. Anna has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and utilizes behavioral psychology, with a focus in positive reinforcement, as a teaching strategy. Anna is eager to continue working towards helping the community in raising happy and healthy children. For fun, Anna loves teaching salsa, training dogs, and last but not least, hanging out with her hilarious daughter Isabella.
