Making sterilization part of a 'closed loop' system, where clean tools go only into the 'sterile' corridor and then into the operating room; while used tools are returned to a 'contaminated' room, without ever entering either the 'sterile' corridor or the hallways of the hospital, will raise our standards to twenty-first century requirements
