Founded in 1977, a small group of committed individuals named as the Cornerstone Counselling Society of Edmonton formed a faith based, not-for-profit agency. Their goals were to provide professional counselling services to anyone in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Given that he travelled to the customers' residence we came up with a name that depicts mobile service in 'Get-About'.As time went on he became busier and busier and was unable to meet the needs of his customer base. So, in the fall of 1997 we set up shop in the city of Winnipeg being that over 90% of our customer base was in the city. After having to relocate over the years due to rental agreements, in 2008 we were able to purchase our current building.
