With over 15 years of experience and 6 successful restaurants, owner Michel Mousavi welcomes customers and makes them feel at home in this 125 seat trattoria which boasts a wall painted with Italian heritage. The Executive Chef, a pioneer of Italian cuisine, makes sure every dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and a true Italian touch. All meals are prepared al minuto and are served piping hot. Signature dishes include the braised lamb shank and the Osso Bucco.

Cafe Diplomatico was first opened in 1968 by Rocco Mastrangelo Sr., shortly thereafter younger brother Paul came on board. The brothers envisioned having a typical Italian bar where Italian nationals could gather in the morning over coffee. At a time in Toronto when outdoor dining was almost unheard of, the sunny patio quickly caught on and now almost 4 decades later what started out as an innovation in the neighborhood has now set the standard. Over the years the popularity of the Diplomatico has caused the bar to expand into a full restaurant eventually taking over the store next door as well. The dip (as it is affectionately referred to by it's many regulars) has had staying power due to it's versatile & reasonably priced menu paired with it's comfortable & unpretentious atmosphere. Approaching 5 decades the restaurant is still owned by the Mastrangelo family, younger brother Paul now runs it with Rocco Mastrangelo Jr.

On April 8, 2011 we opened Trattoria Taverniti. Each day we are in the kitchen making our pomodoro sauce, meatballs, gnocchi, lasagna, chicken eggplant parmigiana, tiramisu, and other delicious foods - all from scratch.

Taverna Mercatto is located on Bremner Blvd. in the Southcore (SOCO) area downtown. A fresh take on the Italian tavern, the menu includes pizzas, pastas, apps and mains.

Aria offers genuine Italian fine dining in a contemporary urban setting. Aria is owned by Guido Saldini and Elena Morelli the proprietors of Noce Restaurant, which for almost 20 years has helped set the standard for Italian cuisine in Toronto. Just as he did in the kitchen at Noce, Aria's Executive Chef Eron Novalski spares no expense in sourcing the freshest, highest quality ingredients to create dishes of elegant simplicity.'Aria' means 'air' in Italian but also references the most Italian of art forms – opera. Both these themes are evident inside Aria which boasts a dramatic 35 foot ceiling and is situated adjacent to the Air Canada Centre and Maple Leaf Square. In addition to its dinner menu, Aria offers a full lunch menu and a separate menu for the bar area. Aria has dining capacity for 130 people and can accommodate private parties in a variety of formats.
