The Bean Bar is a really good low key restaurant in the Westdale neighbourhood. They provide an extensive menu with a wide variety to choose from at a reasonable price.
The food is fantastic and comes in portions that are not overwhelming where you can't finish it - just perfect. I brought my parents here to see what it was like and it exceeded their expectations.
I had the ham and maple cranberry wrap and it was terrific. Definitely hit the spot.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxed and mellow which is nice to have conversation. It's a good place for lunch or an early supper.
The staff is super friendly so the service is great. If you're ever in Westdale, it's definitely worth checking out.

What excellent service and atmosphere. My server, Christopher, was refined, courteous and attemtive. What I found outstanding was his ability to deliver a plate to the table as a sincere communication between two mutually respectful persons. No banging of plates! Everything was cooked expertly and was served promptly snd piping hot. This restaurant is a treat not to be missed by all breakfast enthusiasts for miles around. You will want to come back again and again. Classy, clean, comfortable, and absolutely positive atmosphere. Unbeatable food quality...reasonably priced. BRAVO... Being from Alabama, I have had fresh oysters Gulf fresh. I can say hands down, this was the best oysters and fish I have ever had. Service was amazing and food was priced fairly. 10/10 recommend.
