The Italian musical term vivace, means "lively". We started Vivace out of a love and passion for music. Music makes us feel alive but nothing makes us feel livelier than seeing the same joy and passion in our students when they are finally able to exceed their expectations. BackBeat Music Group (BBMG) was established in 2016 when the co-founders, Mark Anstey and Mitchell Osmond, decided to merge their experiences, knowledge and talents with one mission in mind: To help more people experience the power of music. BBMG is a full service music source offering private lessons, group lessons, artist development, H.O.W Consultation, music therapy, slogans and jingles and an all inclusive recording studio. They aim to give everyone the opportunity to find themselves through the musical services they choose. BBMG has one core philosophy that will never change: Students and clients will leave better than when they came. Whether it’s becoming a better musician, artist or simply leaving in a better emotional state, it’s their commitment to see that people find joy, passion and healing through the one thing that connects us all: Music.

Our professional teachers have degrees in music, and lessons are tailored to each student. Our comprehensive methods and programs will meet all goals and expectations. RCM and Conservatory Canada exam enrollments are offered. Enjoy our unlimited song library, participate in concerts and recitals, and digitally capture your newly developed skills. Rates per half-hour : $25.00 drop-in, $22.50 regular, and $20.00 for students enrolled with the studio for one year or more. Guitar lessons offered in English, Spanish, and French.
