The municipality of the RM of Rudy #284 was incorporated December 13, 1909. The first meeting took place on Dec 15, 1909. The first office was located on the corner of King Street and Wilkinson Ave in Broderick. The RM office relocated to Outlook in 1976 and later moved to the Outlook Town Office Building in 1996. In March of 2001, we became a Joint Administration Office with the Town of Outlook.

He has worked with irrigation, cow/calf operations, relief milked, and employed on feedlots in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Shane and Doris were married in 1987. Doris has worked in several areas of agriculture as well. She has relief milked, employed on feedlots, and was employed as a Veterinarian assistant, in Alberta and Saskatchewan.In September 1995, with financial support of the community we purchased the local grocery store. In February 1999, purchased the processing plant in Eyebrow, built a new facility on the back of the grocery and combined the two businesses.After a fire in April 2000, we rebuilt the complete facility and reopened August 2000.
