Mission StatementFamily Violence Prevention Services Inc. is a community volunteer organization, based on the principles justice, equality and peace. We are dedicated to the eradication of physical, sexual, and emotional violence in families through advocacy, prevention programs and the provision of quality services designed to empower and support those affected by family violence. Anderson Houseis the provincial emergency shelter for women and children who are experiencing abuse in their lives. Anderson House services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Anderson House provides confidential support and information. Outreach Servicesare confidential support services for abused women. Staff provide one on one support, information, public education, referrals to other agencies and advocacy on behalf of women. This service is available in Queen's County, East Prince, West Prince Regions and Eastern PEI.
