The provincial government has placed Parent Participation Preschools under the jurisdiction of the Community Care Facilities Licensing Act. In order to be a member of the Council of Parent Participation Preschools and to protect the quality of care children receive in all such preschools, it is required by childcare licensing that all persons who participate (assist) in any daycare or preschool center must have adequate knowledge of children.
KIDS ZONE, is a smoke free, multi-service childcare. Our staff are ECE trained and have over 20 yrs experience. All members have their CPR/First aid, are criminal record checked and attend annual ongoing training. Our mission is to create a classroom that allows a child to feel they belong. A class where they will own the room and take pride in their accomplishments, motivating them to learn. We use an interactive approach where children can learn within small groups. We feel this is the best way to provide developmentally appropriate curriculum. Throughout the day children work in small groups, in individual settings, and with the rest of the class in supervised activities. We feel your child will benefit from both structured and child initiated learning.

The A B CHILDREN Licensed Family Daycare operates 12 months a year.
The A B CHILDREN Licensed Family Daycare is two blocks from Richard Bulpitt Elementary School where there is a large playground and a large field. We offer over night child care for those parents in need 6 pm TO 7 am, Monday to Friday.
We believe children can achieve optimal learning and growth in an environment which is caring, supportive, fun and challenging. We value each child in their journey of emotional, physical and cognitive development and recognize the uniqueness of each child and nurture their talents and abilities.
