Counselling can be a time to discover, explore and refocus on what gives meaning and purpose in your life. My background is a Masters in Counselling Psychology and a PhD in Theology. I work full-time as a clinical health care professional in an acute care Edmonton hospital and I also work in some outpatients clinics within the local health system. I am a full member of the following: College of Alberta Psychologists; Psychological Association of Alberta; Canadian Association of Spiritual Care. You may wonder . . . so what brings people to counselling? Clients come to address issues connected to work, health, family, relationships and life transitions (e.g., moving house, death, children moving out). People seek to cope and need a few pointers to help them. Sometimes they wish to delve deeper in the therapeutic conversations to understand themselves and others more. My private practice is located at Star of the North Retreat Centre in St. Albert.
