Be aware there's always a waiting line for breakfast at Melissa's. That alone should tell you how good it is. The servers are great and can become overworked especailly in ski season as customers are rushing for breakfast to catch the next bus up to the ski hills. But we don't ski so our server could get a breath and not have to rush. The food is excellent and service is great. The only thing I'd like to see is senior protions of some of the larger breakfasts the Eggs benny come 1/2 portion but none of the other signiture breakfasts do. My name is Agnes Fatimeau and my family and I visit Banff seasonally espacially in the winter. Because we are from France and that we are used to very good food and wine pairing it has very difficult for us to accomodate ourselves in Canada but Giorgio's trattoria has been great for us everytime. They also have a fantastic wine list and they won a wine spectator award for it as well but the best of it all is the food and the service. If you ever go there try their Roselinne or their Duck breast it would be a sin not too!

It is good for what it is. Nothing fancy. Good family restaurant option at very reasonable prices. Your meal typically includes soup/salad and ice cream for dessert. The service was fairly good. I had their lunch size lasagna and it was fine. Very cheesy.
No washroom inside the restaurant but there is one just outside to the left as part of the mall's shared facilities. The restaurant was busy for Saturday lunch so expect to wait if no reservation.
