At Oyster Boy, we eat, live and breathe oysters. We love their hard shells, their smooth taste and that the un-class-conscious way they make themselves at home in a rowdy pub or a black tie affair. But more than anything, we love to share these magnificent mollusks and all their juicy secrets with the masses!
Step back in time to a period of European elegance and splendour. The former home of Canadian financier Sir Henry Pellatt, Canada's foremost castle is complete with decorated suites, secret passages, an 800-foot tunnel, towers, stables, beautiful 5-acre estate gardens and much more.
We lament the alarming trend of The Styrofoam Lunch Container and Plastic Fork, carried into the corporate cubicle for something called lunch. This has led Rodney's No.1 Head Cook Rodrigo to create and implement The Galley Lunch - 7 + offerings falling under the $10.00 mark. We are all hoping this renews the Urban core of worker bees' interest in taking a true break for 45 minutes at lunch, and stems the above mentioned Syndrome. A Revival of Social Intercourse, Friendship and the Rejuvenation of the Mind through the Stomach! Rodney's is respectful of the budgetary concerns of society and therefore we also suggest creativity in splitting items, having communal mid-table platters for sharing, and half-order tactics. Water is good.

High-end, authentic Portuguese cuisine defines this Little Italy treat, where fresh fish and a classy, unpretentious atmosphere are always the catch of the day. The fresh white ricotta-like queijo fresco amuse bouches and warm basket of sliced cornbread with nutty olive oil dip that launch the experience are well appreciated. From there, online reviewers gush about the quality of the seafood here, pausing particularly to wax over the octopus, monkfish and pan-seared skate fish. The wine list has some unique Portuguese selections, and the staff is well versed in their distinctions. Chiado's décor is simple but stylish, with contemporary art lining the walls and minimally adorned tables draped in double linens.
I loved everything about this restaurant! From the valet service at the door, the discreet but highly efficient service, the fresh and delicious seafood and wonderfully light Molotov dessert, and the extensive list of Portuguese wines. The atmosphere is lively and sophisticated. Nothing dull here. Yes, this has got to be the best Portuguese restaurant in Toronto! Would definitely recommend for special occasions or romantic dinners. Come taste a savory dish at Koganei Japanese Restaurant. They are open late all week. You can get there by car and enjoy your meal at home thanks to their delivery service.
Food: Last week was my first time trying Koganei so I didn't get to try lots of food. However, Koganei roll was one of the best roll I ever had. it's bit pricey for a roll (almost $15 with tax) but it's worth it. I do not know exactly what's in the roll (it's shrimp tempura roll with some little bit spicy orange-red stuff with tiny fish eggs on the top) but it was amazing. (I wish red stuff on the top was more spicier though.) I also tried miso base noodle soup (noodles and veggies in miso soup) which was salty for my taste. did not really like it. Service: wait staffs were nice and helpful. when i went, there weren't many people in the restaurant so i didn't have to wait long to order and get my food. Atmosphere: table setting seemed little weird to me because little table for 2 people were placed right next to booth but decor was good. Read more
Sushi Supreme invites you to their establishment. They are open late all week. You can get there by public transit. They are in a peaceful surrounding acknowledged for its grassy spaces.
Starving while walking out from the subway, my boyfriend recommended this place since it was his go to place with his buddies for sushi. I was thinking that since it was a la carte it would be more expensive but surprisingly it wasn't. The place was quite busy and the service was somewhat slow. We ordered 2 supreme bento boxes at 10 dollars a piece and a spicy crunchy california roll as well as extra shrimp tempura. It was more than enough to fill us up and we had leftovers as well. They gave out generous portions for their price and the quality is good for its price. The service was decent and the bill wasn't expensive at all. I would definitely come back. Read more
