All over the world, people have been training a lifetime to have the chance to compete for the right to call themselves CrossFit's fittest man/woman alive. The event takes place this weekend in LA, at the home depot center. The theme of the week is do some of the workouts that had been done at the various qualifying venues all over the world to pay tribute to what physical task lies ahead. The wod's have evolved over the years. The first year there were only 3 events, 2008 had 4, 2009 there were 8! This year, no one knows how many events there will be. Nor, will the athletes have advance notice of when their next event is. All that is known, is that one hour before each event, the athlete will be notified what their next physical task will be. It's exciting stuff! And that, unto itself is intense. I wish all the athletes good luck! Area: WSL
