My name is Diane Zylka, I am a custom picture framer and creator of Zylka Fine Framing. I was first introduced to the world of custom picture framing in the early 1980’s. As a young artist, it was a natural extension for me and it grew into a passion that would stay with me throughout the years. When a piece of art is brought into the studio, I regard it with a thoughtful and creative eye. I look for inspiration in every piece that I am going to frame. My goal is to create a frame design that works beautifully with your art, protects your art, and provides many years of enjoyment. I want you to love it. One of the things that I enjoy most about picture framing is hearing the stories that go along with the art or object that is brought to me. I see pieces that have been passed down through generations, special finds from a street market in Paris and sometimes a child’s first painting.
