Welcome.... I suppose since you are here, you have some questions for us. What is iGalen? Who are the people behind it? What are their motives? Is it a power hungry corporation bent on dominating our world? Well, yes.... with organic healthcare! So, let's clear the air with some intros. My name is Brent Guild. I am a computer geek, and I've been getting my hands dirty with these techie gizmos my entire life, whether it's opening a computer store, doing data entry work or forming an online service community. I would also like to introduce you to my lovely wife, Jane. She has used her spectrum of skills as a writer, editor, graphic and web designer and manager in her career. Now, despite our diverse professional backgrounds, my wife and I have a lot of shared interests. We have this innate draw towards nature. We are avid gardeners, and you won't find a day when our house doesn't have a foster dog from the local rescue society. And this proximity to nature has given us perspective!
We are a family-run business that partners with home owners, businesses, municipalities, planners, farmers, community groups & developers to connect food, place and people in inspiring ways! We assemble & lead crews of experienced designers, organic landscapers, tree-planters, machine operators, permaculturalists & green builders and specialize in creating landscapes that produce food, medicine and fodder; increase soil carbon; foster bio-diversity and absorb and store water. In the city, that means edible landscapes, home/community micro-orchards and kitchen gardens. On farmland, that means promoting perennial, low-carbon agriculture with emphasis on multi-functional tree crops, soil health and holistic water management.
