Bouquinart Librairie & Galerie d'art is a dynamic mother-daughter duo that invites you to share their love of arts, both literary and visual. One is a gallery owner, the other bookseller. Together they created a bookshop and art gallery where the world of words and images intertwine to create a pleasant place to visit and where the service is personalized. In love with words and images, they will be able to advise you both in the purchase of a book and a work of art. Bouquinart is also the neighborhood bookshop / art gallery that offers direct contact with your favorite authors, artists and illustrators. So, with its many cultural events scheduled in their calendar, you do not risk to be bored. The Bouquinart bookshop and art gallery is located in the heart of Old Aylmer, an ideal place. For what better than a street bubbling with cultural and family activities to create literary and visual events!
Photographic Art by Iris ten Holder My first aim is to present the beauty around us. While we seldom are given the time to observe and cherish what we see, photography is my excuse to ponder a little longer and record not only the beauty, but also what happens around us, be it construction, a threatening cloud formation, or a frog floating in a pond. My second aim is to make it more than a photograph, and embed some of the excitement, some of the atmosphere, some of the feeling experienced, and convey this to the viewer. In landscapes we find beauty; in cities we find activity; in travel we discover new sights, new cultures, new architecture. In photography I can share this and perhaps bring back memories to those who view them.
