Megan MacDonald is a multi disciplinarian artist located in Kelowna British Columbia, Canada.
MacDonald is drawn to natural and organic forms, the energy of hand-drawn lines, and the alchemy that occurs with the convergence of natural elements. She was drawn to encaustics due to its beautiful depth and luminosity as well as the myriad of possibilities the medium offers. Although she continues to explore a variety of mediums in her art practice, her focus is primarily centred on encaustic .
An award-winning artist, MacDonald’s work has been in juried exhibitions both regionally and nationally and can be found in numerous private collections around the globe.
MacDonald continues to work, show and instruct out of her studio the Crow’s Nest in Kelowna, BC.
We are a custom framing shop for all of your framing needs whether for photos, prints, paintings or artwork. We can also frame memorabilia like sports jerseys or other precious keepsakes. We carry a large stock of frame mouldings and mat and our suppliers ensure we can get materials quickly from a selection of hundreds of frame and mat samples. We purchased the inventory and equipment from Ian who has operated in the area for many years and have moved the business to our new location at 947 Spokane Street in Trail." Stitching Arts and More, and Fashion Moves Inclusive Designs, are all about clothing, sewing and Thread Arts. Through Stitching Arts I do contract sewing, mending and alterations. Teaching others to sew and to learn other Thread Arts is also a key focus.
Fashion Moves Inclusive Designs was created many years ago to specifically provide quality, fashionable, professional and functional clothing for Individuals with disabilities, primarily Individuals who use wheelchairs full time.
