Wheat Sheaf is among the city's oldest watering holes and is something of a Toronto institution whose continuous operation actually dates back to 18 years before Confederation. As any excellent tavern would, this place features heavy wooden tables bowing under the weight of frothy pitchers and stacks of sticky wings (sold at half price on Sunday through Tuesday). Wheat Sheaf has a kickin' jukebox, a rollicking atmosphere,
I visited last night for the first time for a friends birthday party I have to say the atmosphere was very nice the food was good the only downfall being a disabled person is with the washrooms be in downstairs. Overall it was a good night and a big thank you to our waitress Alley for keeping on top of her toes and making sure everybody had everything they needed in the celebration. Read more

I have always wanted to try Milestones and finally went today for lunch as it is convenient to my hotel. If the bruschetta is any indication of the taste of their food, I will definitely be back! The lunch combo is a perfect way to try two dishes. The salad could have used more toppings, particularly the spicy glazed pecans but the vinaigrette is pleasant with the remaining greens. I love the fact that the bruschetta is on flatbread. Lots of goat cheese and great balsamic reduction! No need for dessert with this stuff! Wait staff attentive, service prompt, but not so fast you feel rushed. Read more

IL FORNELLO has long been considered one of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto, Richmond Hill, Oakville and most recently Ajax and Barrie. In Italy 'pizza a legna' (wood-fired pizza) is available everywhere, but it wasn't until Il FORNELLO opened their first Toronto restaurant and offered authentic, wood-fired oven, Neapolitan style, thin crust pizza that Torontonians were able to experience pizza the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Now there are Il FORNELLO, Italian kitchen bars in eight neighbourhoods in the GTA and across Southern Ontario and still making the best pizza you've ever tasted and offering authentic Italian antipasti, pastas, entrées and more in a welcoming environment inspired by the Italian table where you can relax, share and enjoy your meal with family and friends.

Charming atmosphere, beautiful chandeliers and old stone walls covered with vintage black and white photos. The food was excellent, and our server was absolutely lovely. A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance. If you have a group that wants to reunite, two hours is kind of short, but that's the policy. Read more
