One of the best repair shops in the city. Maurice took my car for a drive and figured out what was wrong with it right away. Very honest with parts pricing and shop hours. Did not try to upsell me or anything. Excellent customer service as well. They were referred to me by a friend and they didn't disappoint. Will definitely be my first option for my car repairs. I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. I'm a woman and all the staff are respectful. They don't talk down to me or over my head. You won't find a flashy waiting room, just honest work at a fair price and good employees comfortable in their work environment. And yes, my '06 Civic is still running well.
