Burial in a Catholic cemetery is an affirmation of the Christian faith. The Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese, operated on behalf of all parishes, exercise a ministry of service that continues uninterrupted since 1855. We are guided by the Catholic Church, the Archdiocese of Toronto and the needs of those we serve. Catholic Cemeteries offer a comforting atmosphere in which our Catholic Faith is celebrated and love for family and friends is remembered. A selection of burial services is available including ground burial, mausoleum crypt entombment, cremation as well as monuments and markers. Cemetery office hours are from Monday to Saturday - 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. To serve you better a cemetery counsellor can be available weekday evenings by request and subject to availability. Please contact the cemetery office for more information on making pre-arrangements.

The Mount Pleasant Group is one of Ontario's oldest, largest and most innovative cemetery and funeral operations. We also have four crematoriums, 14 mausoleums and five visitation centres where we also provide funeral services. In addition, we offer funeral services through The Simple Alternative Funeral Centres in Toronto, Mississauga and Pickering. Today, we are made up of two companies: the Mount Pleasant Group of Cemeteries which provides cemetery and crematorium services; and Canadian Memorial Services which provides funeral services. In Ontario, 95% of all cemetery companies are either non-profits, or are owned by religious organizations or municipalities.

Robert Louis Stevenson''The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief. But the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with the pain of never risking love.''- Hilary Stanton Zunin''My friendship with Mitzi was like the friendship that many children have with their pets. The foundation of Natures Way Cemetery was built on a tragedy. On September 1, 1995, I married my husband in a small ceremony on our 10 acre property. Collectively we had three dogs at the time of our marriage. The smallest and oldest was a city-raised miniature long haired daschund named Felix. Two days following the happy nuptials the best man prepared to return to his in Belleville, Ontario. With goodbyes said, my sister and I proceeded to walk the distance to the house with the dogs in tow. Unbeknownst to us, my beloved Felix was resting under the best mans truck, which was now in reverse gear. The rest, as they say, is history. My best friend and faithful companion of eight years had been taken abruptly from me.
