I have lived at the Terrace for 5 years. It is a great place to be if you are alone and find life a bit difficult and boring. We have an excellent staff that make you feel at home. We have the best kitchen crew that prepare healthy, tasty meals 3 times a day. There are lots of activities and games to keep you busy and lots of good entertainers who come to perform for us. The Greater Polson Community Foundation was born from the desire to give something back to our community and from the example and accomplishments of other Montana community foundations.Our initial meeting, Dec. 15, 2007, was followed by an ambitious plan for the New Year to become completely organized before we introduced the foundation to the community. Prairie Community Church is a non denominational Church located in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. PCC was founded in 2002 and has been serving the Portage community ever since. We consider ourselves charismatic evangelicals. Although that might sound like an oxymoron, like 'vegetarians for roast beef', we don't see it that way.
Centennial Arena Ice Skating Rink Was Founded In 1967 With A Second Arena (West) Added In 1980. The West Arena Of Centennial Arena Is An Indoor Rink And Opens Seasonally From November 1St To February 28Th. The East Side Arena Is Being Used For Recreation Vehicle Storage Seasonally From October To April. The West Ice Surface Of The Centennial Arena Is Being Kept Operational Thanks To The Support Of The Citizens And Businesses Of Portage La Prairie And Rural Municipality. This Project Was Started 3 Years Ago In Order To Provide The Youth And Adults Who Participate In Recreational By Venapro Skating, Hockey, Ringette And Figure Skating Access To More Ice Time In Portage La Prairie For Practices And Games.
