Between 1992 and 1998 he was the Regional Senior Justice of the Superior Court of Justice for the Southwest Region. From 1997 to 2003 he was a member of the Judicial Advisory Committee which reported to and advised the Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice on the Integrated Justice Initiative in Ontario which was proposing to create a digital and paperless Justice system
