I have always wanted to learn how to dance. With the gentle push of a Friend who recommended Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Woodbrigde, I decided to stop making excuses. I was told that if I wanted a place where I could feel confident and learn to lead in my life, then I came to the right place.
My career is one where I spend long hours sitting at the computer. Thus, socializing and public speaking were not my forte, but dancing instruction helped me gain the skills I needed to use the talents I have and apply myself in a more directive management environment. Through the patience of my teachers and the wonderful people I have met, I have had the opportunity to develop rhythm and learn non-verbal cues of communication to help me lead and dance with esteem. Pushing myself to go outside my comfort zone and socialize during group experience has had a phenomenal impact on my career and life! I smile more as I move around more rhythmically, I participate more confidently in social environments and I even stand taller. Physically, I feel more vibrant and emotionally I am more stable and confident in myself!!
Thank-you to the wonderful staff and people who participate every week in such a healthy and engaging environment. Opportunities are endless if you have the desire, give yourself the tools you need for life. As their motto says "Walk-in and Dance out!!" My friend was right, you won't ever look back only forward with a firm strong glide!!!

Victoria International Ballet Academy is a professional ballet school located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. The academy provides structured ballet education using the Vaganova method and offers ballet classes for children, youth, and adults from Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, and other cities in the Greater Toronto Area.
Students receive systematic training in classical ballet technique. The curriculum also includes contemporary dance, character dance, repertoire, and stage performance preparation as part of a comprehensive ballet education program.
The Academy welcomes students from across Canada and internationally who seek high-level ballet training and professional artistic development in a disciplined educational environment.

GRDA is a registered RAD, CDTA and Acrobatic Arts facility, which means we belong to national and international dance federations that require it's members to be accountable for the material we teach. Did you know RAD and CDTA instructors are required to have yearly training and/or attend workshops or other dance related activities in order to maintain their membership? Why would you trust your child's dance education with anything less.
The GRDA serves Fergus, Elora, Arthur and Guelph. We offer programs for Children, Adults, Birthday Parties, Christmas Parade and recital summer camp.
DanceTastic Studio (D.T.S) opened its doors in 2002.. At D.T.S. we take pride in our high quality dance education taught in a positive learning environment. Our goal is to provide each student with mental, and physical challenges through movement. We will stimulate memory and retention while providing discipline, and excitement for the individual dancer. D.T.S. provides an exciting after school program (September to May) for children and/or adults who want to learn, or improve their dance abilities. Did you know that the Government of Canada allows parents to claim the total cost of dance lesson fees ($500.00/child under 16 years old) as a tax credit.
