The Grand River Dance Academy is located in Downtown Fergus. Dancers come from Fergus, Elora, Arthur, and Guelph areas to enjoy our professional and fun classes. Our primary focus is on technique and having fun learning it. GRDA is a registered RAD, CDTA and Acrobatic Arts facility, which means we belong to national and international dance federations that require it's members to be accountable for the material we teach. Did you know RAD and CDTA instructors are required to have yearly training and/or attend workshops or other dance related activities in order to maintain their membership? The GRDA serves Fergus, Elora, Arthur and Guelph. We offer programs for Children, Adults, Birthday Parties, Christmas Parade and recital summer camp.
Royal City School of Ballet Inc. is Guelph's premier dance studio that caters to dancers of all ages. The Flying Dance Company (FDC) was founded in the fall of 2004. Its Director, Nicholas (Nico) Muthui Kaburia had a desire to share his love of dance as a way to celebrate life. So building a dance family that is based on a fun friendly service, cultural diverse teaching and is community focused was the logical step for Nico.
Inspiring to dance is, as its name suggests, at the heart of the studio Dancepiration. Students will quickly come to understand and appreciate that this studio offers more than just 'technical' dance instruction in jazz, hiphop, ballet, pointe, broadway jazz, lyrical, tap, contemporary, music & movement, dancer's conditioning, wedding routines & so much more - it gives each program enrollee a chance to express themselves in a fun, comfortable, relaxed environment.
