L'Abattoir is located in the center of Gastown between historic Gaoler's Mews and Blood Alley. The restaurant was built in the 19th century and is the site of Vancouver's first jail. Originally buttressed to the city's main butchery and meat packing district, the name L'Abattoir pays homage to the neighbourhood's colourful past. Set in a refurbished brick and beam building that combines classic French tile work with industrial fixtures, natural wood, and glass and steel finishes, the restaurant offers a bar and lounge setting, elevated dining room and plush, sun soaked atrium. He must ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and stowed and that the crew know where it is kept and how it is to be used. Since 2004, the mission of the Vancouver Sailing Club (VSC) has been to provide adults with a fun and a comprehensive sailing education that exceeds internationally recognized certification requirements for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced recreational sailing. Our Courses are open to both Members and non-members and are available year-round.

Each day the food for our guests is prepared from scratch for the night’s dinner service by the talented Fable team from the local ingredients that arrive at our door. A delicious lunch menu is served from Monday to Friday. Brunch is featured on Saturdays & Sundays.
