Dr. Jean-Luc LeBlanc holds an M.Sc. in exercise physiology and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, both from the University of Ottawa. He is a mental health professional with 40 years of experience designing and carrying out interventions to help employees and organizations create healthy and viable work environments. He has a private practice as a licensed clinical psychologist in Ottawa with a focus on adult, marital, career and occupational health. As an employee assistance professional, Dr. LeBlanc has been supporting employees in work settings for most of his career and has served as a private coach for federal government employees since 2003. He has developed and offered training sessions over the years on many topics, including organizational effectiveness and resilience, stress management, work/personal life balance, emotional intelligence, vicarious trauma, grief, compassion fatigue and suicide prevention.

We at Asmini Fashions came to Canada from Tanzania Africa. That is also where the name Asmini better known as Jasmine comes from. The Jasmine flower is a small and beautifully fragrant flower that we grew up with. We can still smell the fragrance, especially during wedding times when both groom and bride would be covered in garlands made of Jasmine. The motivation for starting Asmini Fashions was to create a place for affordable scarves as well as some items from back home. This is why we also carry Khangas and Kitenge Material.
