Laser tattoo removal is usually effective for the most part. However, there are some things to keep in mind. The laser tattoo removal treatment may create superficial burns. During the treatment the area undergoes a whitening process which usually lasts for 10-20 minutes. Some people experience bruising, swelling, or pin point bleeding. Many people develop scabs, crusts or blisters. These should heal in 1-2 weeks. The treated area may experience hypo-pigmentation (lack of normal skin colour) or hyper-pigmentation (an abundance of colour), these are usually temporary. During your consultation, please ask questions. Enter into your treatments with realistic expectations. Generally some colours are removed easier than others. All tattoos are different and will require a different numbers of treatments.
