Montreal’s portal to its past, the Château Ramezay was the first building in Québec to be classified an historic monument. Chosen as one of the 1001 Historic Sites You Must See Before You Die, the Château invites you to relive more than 500 years of history, from the pre-contact Amerindian era to the 20th century. A not-to-be-missed heritage landmark in Old Montréal, the Château Ramezay holds fascinating collections, displayed in numerous exhibits, intermingled with multimedia portrayals of historical figures recounting, in six languages, highlights of their lives at the Château. Items in the museum shop reflect this legacy. Visit the Governor's Garden and experience delights typical of an urban garden in New France. In summer, a terrace overlooks the garden.

Créée en 2007, la Fondation Phi pour l’art contemporain, anciennement connue sous le nom de DHC/ART, est un organisme sans but lucratif qui se consacre à la présentation de l’art contemporain. Abritée dans deux bâtiments patrimoniaux situés au coeur du Vieux-Montréal, sa programmation s’est mérité la faveur critique aussi bien ici qu’à l’étranger. Chaque année, la Fondation Phi présente deux à trois expositions majeures, une série d’événements publics, des projets spéciaux en collaboration et un programme d’éducation innovateur. D’envergure internationale, tout en étant à l’écoute du contexte montréalais, la programmation entière de la Fondation est offerte gratuitement afin de renforcer son engagement à être accessible et de favoriser une discussion sur la manière dont l’art contemporain est porteur de sujets et d’idées qui reflètent et touchent notre vie au quotidien.
