At Oyster Boy, we eat, live and breathe oysters. We love their hard shells, their smooth taste and that the un-class-conscious way they make themselves at home in a rowdy pub or a black tie affair. But more than anything, we love to share these magnificent mollusks and all their juicy secrets with the masses!

Green Acres is one of Fort Erie's oldest and most famous restaurants, offering great food, friendly service, and outstanding value for over 40 years. We cater to the whole family and offer great deals for kids. Take-out is available - we're known for our fish and chips! We accept reservations, are wheelchair accessible, and have plenty of parking on-site. We are also happy to accommodate parties and events!
Green Acres is a family tradition for the last ten years. Each Good Friday and a handful of times throughout the year we travel from Niagara Falls, Ontario to Fort Erie for the sole purpose of eating their fish and chips. The service is always fantastic and the food reasonably priced and excellent. We'll be visiting again this Good Friday and my stomach is already grumbling. My only complaint is that the fish and chips is so good, I never order anything else on the menu. Never-the-less, other family members have and swear by the taste and massive portions. Read more

High-end, authentic Portuguese cuisine defines this Little Italy treat, where fresh fish and a classy, unpretentious atmosphere are always the catch of the day. The fresh white ricotta-like queijo fresco amuse bouches and warm basket of sliced cornbread with nutty olive oil dip that launch the experience are well appreciated. From there, online reviewers gush about the quality of the seafood here, pausing particularly to wax over the octopus, monkfish and pan-seared skate fish. The wine list has some unique Portuguese selections, and the staff is well versed in their distinctions. Chiado's décor is simple but stylish, with contemporary art lining the walls and minimally adorned tables draped in double linens.
I loved everything about this restaurant! From the valet service at the door, the discreet but highly efficient service, the fresh and delicious seafood and wonderfully light Molotov dessert, and the extensive list of Portuguese wines. The atmosphere is lively and sophisticated. Nothing dull here. Yes, this has got to be the best Portuguese restaurant in Toronto! Would definitely recommend for special occasions or romantic dinners. We tried it for the first time, and ordered the Arroz de marisquo (Seafood Rice Stew). One plater was enough for two adults and one child age 12 and there was still leftover for at least one more person. really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was really polite. will definitely comeback again. Temple Bar invites you to their establishment. Come relax on their terrace beneath the sun. They are open late all week. You can get there by bicycle. They are in a lively surrounding known for its nightlife.
We lament the alarming trend of The Styrofoam Lunch Container and Plastic Fork, carried into the corporate cubicle for something called lunch. This has led Rodney's No.1 Head Cook Rodrigo to create and implement The Galley Lunch - 7 + offerings falling under the $10.00 mark. We are all hoping this renews the Urban core of worker bees' interest in taking a true break for 45 minutes at lunch, and stems the above mentioned Syndrome. A Revival of Social Intercourse, Friendship and the Rejuvenation of the Mind through the Stomach! Rodney's is respectful of the budgetary concerns of society and therefore we also suggest creativity in splitting items, having communal mid-table platters for sharing, and half-order tactics. Water is good.

We have visited Watermark several times, and unlike most of the posters have never had a problem. Except. they should ban smoking on the patio, although that might be a city bylaw. Our recent visit was a busy, sunny Sunday at around noon. We were told it would be about 10 minutes to be seated, actually it turn out to be around 5 minutes. After being seated our waitress showed up in good time and asked for our drink order, she showed up quickly with our drinks and took our food order. She said the kitchen was quite busy and our order might take a little longer than usual. We asked about appetizers that might hold us to the food arrived and she said they really don't serve them. Imagine our surprise when showed up a little while later with a plate of mini muffins for us, and then, refilled the plate. I know it's not much.....but it was something. And actually, it didn't seem like too long till our food arrived. The only complaint was from my daughter....kids.....who said, and this well be somewhat odd, her tacos had too much topping on them, and that the meat sauce made the tortilla chips "soggy". She may right on "soggy" bit, but she likes the chips most of all :-) . It was a good lunch, and everyone enjoyed their meal, although the accompanying salads with sandwiches were on the small side. Chicken club was made with a chicken breast, and lobster clubs had plenty of filling. If I have a different experience, I'll post it. Read more
