The Art Smith Aviation Academy (ASAA) is nestled within the heart of 4 Wing Cold Lake, Canada’s largest fighter base. The roar of overhead jets provides the perfect inspirational tone for the complete aviation learning experience. The Academy is an 'alternative program school' within Northern Lights School Division. We provide a K to 8 program in both English and French Immersion to all families in the Cold Lake area. The school also takes pride in being able to focus on the specialized needs of military dependants while supporting students of the area surrounding 4 Wing Cold Lake. Members of the Canadian Forces and the Department of National Defence lend a collective hand to the aviation program of the ASAA.
