Through the understanding of the root of your current symptoms, we will help you overcome whatever is getting in the way of living your best, and healthiest life. Whether that might be childhood experiences (such as abuse, neglect, or bullying) or negative beliefs about self (such as not good enough or not worthy), or painful and harmful relationships, we want to help you understand the feelings and mechanisms underneath your surface level symptoms such as anxiety, depression, shame, fear, etc., to allow you space for processing and healing, to eventually surmount and transcend your barriers and hurdles.
Unlock your best self with Calgary's premier psychology and psychiatry practice! Nestled in a charming century home, our clinic offers a collaborative care model with highly-trained psychotherapists.
At the core of our approach lies a fundamental belief: therapy goes beyond mere problem-solving; it delves into the exploration of your unique self. We co-create a personalized and actionable care plan that prioritizes your goals to not only alleviate distress but also empower you to lead a more fulfilling life.

Would you set out on a road trip without a plan of where you wanted to go, or checking road conditions first for any obstructions to your path? You might, but it might take you longer to get where you're going and increase frustration along the way.
Learning is our children's full-time job. What we all really want for our children is for them to be happy, successful, and to experience school as a positive place to be. Having a strong sense of your child's learning strengths and weaknesses supports them in reaching their potential and experiencing success in their learning. Assessments help you help your child. At Sheldon Psychology Group we are passionate about the power of assessment, which is why it is the focus of our practice. Contact us to learn more.
