Besides being an innkeeper and mom, Cindy is a Chartered Accountant and has a practice specializing in accounting assistance to small businesses. David is a Professional Agrologist and provides consulting expertise on environmental issues when he is not baking muffins or helping with breakfast. Melissa loves life and lives it to the fullest. She is enrolled at UFV in Criminal Justice. Her dream is to become a film makeup artist specializing in prostheses. Matthew has graduated from mountain biking and is now a full time car nut. His life is a '94 Volkswagen GTI. Michael enjoys everything. He especially enjoys talking, talking, and talking. He is also a brown belt Sun Hang Do martial artist. Our dream for Everett House BandB was to create a retreat where our guests would feel special. We began with our exqusite Victorian suites and added personal touches like bubble bath for the antique claw foot tubs, candles and music, thick terry robes, cookies and candles. We topped it off with a gourment breakfast served in the privacy of your room or in our dining room. We then invited guests to come and enjoy our haven from the hustle of living. Since 1994 we have welcomed people from all over the world and treated them to our special hospitality. Everett House BandB is the perfect retreat for your anniversary, wedding or weekend gateway. "Mama Bears Duds n Suds is your one stop place to either do your own laundry or drop off and let our staff do your laundry for you. We have small machines for smaller amounts of laundry, right up to large machines that you can clean your largest king size blankets. Our laundromat is kid friendly as we provide entertainment for your children while you do your Laundry. In the future we look forward to starting our pick up and drop off delivery service, so keep an eye out for the news once we post on our social media sites. We assist people with developmental disabilities by: Providing individual residential supports - in homes, apartments and family settings. Educating and supporting adults in consumer skills, employment preparation and placement, volunteerism, and social/recreation/leisure abilities. Supporting children in child care settings. Advocating for, and responding to, all related developmental disability issues. We do this by: Planning with families and others who care about the people we support. Working with government, businesses, neighborhoods, schools, community groups, service clubs and others who share our goals and objectives. Family and Children Services Family and Children Services offers programs which promote and facilitate inclusive opportunities for children and youth. Adult Home Support Services currently operates five licensed community homes, each providing staff support 24 hours per day. Individuals living in these homes have varying levels of need for assistance with activities of daily living. Each is encouraged to participate fully in household routines with staff offering dignified and respectful support as needed. Respite Services MACL Family Respite Services provide screened and approved caregivers to families in support of their children (adult or child) with developmental disabilities. Respite provides up to 24 hour/day support to families referred by Community Living British Columbia (actual days per year determined by CLBC).
