Excellent. What a wonderfully authentic hole in the wall. Though the servers struggled in communicating, they were warm and efficient. I have had a lot of great Japanese, and this is right up there. Fantastic food, great service. Our waitress was perfect. We took a while to decide, and she gave us space and more than enough time, yet she was right there when we were ready. We also got lots of extra appetizers. At first I thought the place was expensive, but we did get a lot of food, and after experiencing the quality and taste of the food, I have to say it was absolutely worth it :D

I'm no connoisseur of sushi or Japanese food, but I have had it a few times elsewhere in Toronto, this is certainly the best experience each time I go. The restaurant itself is clean and nice, the food is good and the service is quick. (Not always friendly, but quick) I usually order pretty generic stuff- california roll, bento box, veg. tempura, etc. Cant beat this place, IMO.

Nobo created probably the best contemporary Japanese fusion restaurants in all of Toronto. from the starter, drink, to even the dessert - a must try experience. Even the location is a blend of Japanese reliance on word of mouth in a indescreet area If you can call Caddys as a Canadian landmark.
