South Island Imports is a family owned and operated business. Mike Phillips bought the small business in July 1994. He ran it on on his own for 2 years until his brother, Norm came to work with him. Together they pulled auto parts and repaired vehicles. In 2000 their sister, Teresa was hired to detail the cars for sale. She now looks after the books and advertising. In 2010, Norm's oldest son Cameron was hired to work in the office providing customer service and shipping out parts. Recently Brandon, another one of Norm's sons has started working here dismantling vehicles and is also learning how to do body work from his dad. South Island Imports has the largest selection of used Toyota 4x4 parts on Vancouver Island. We have just expanded and now have 5 acres of vehicles containing literally hundreds of thousands of quality used auto parts. For the past 20 years we have specialized in Japanese import vehicles such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda and Acura. Recently we have added domestic vehicles to our inventory.
